One of the best sandwich places I've eaten at here in Ventura. The people are super nice too! I have tried several different sandwiches and every one has been pretty amazing. Keep up the good work!

This place has yet to disappoint, they serve a solid line-up of sandwiches that are tasty and well served. The owners are super friendly and always accommodating on special requests.
While it is not the best sandwich place I have ever been to, it is definitely one I keep in my rotation whenever I have the itch for going a sandwich. It is also one of the few places, that I know of, that still use squaw bread here in the County. The Ventura Sandwich Co. betrayed me and changed their menu so I don't go there anymore luckily, The Sandwich Man and Sprouts fill that void very well. While I feel that introducing new menu items is key for any restaurant's success, it should never be done at the expense of their popular items. Consistency is always key for a return patron.
Another thing I like about this place is their homemade soups, they are tasty and homemade everyday. They prepare a really make a mean enchilada soup. Who would have thunk that drinking an enchilada would be delicious??
My favorite items there so far are:
Clubhouse Sandwich on squaw bread
Enchilada Soup
The Bomb Burger minus the guacamole
Today I'm going to try the Turkey Avocado sub with extra meat and I'll report back on the taste.
The Sandwich Man is kind of out of the way in Saticoy but just remember if you are close to the 126 you can get there pretty quick on your lunch hour. Also call ahead because this is a small place and the wait could be a little longer than what you are used to at SmellWay. -

This place is definitely a must try; the sandwich was delish and service was absolutely amazing! I had the Italian and it was ahhhmazing and my boyfriend had the turkey bacon with avocado and was also amazing. Great homemade soup and a delicious cinnamon roll to finish it off! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back

This place was pretty good. Sandwiches were big and well made. Try the Split Pea soup, it is bomb. We had the soup, a california club, and the Reuben.

This restaurant is home to a food-flavor guru who has disguised himself as a local sandwich maker to prevent being overwhelmed by legions of hungry patrons demanding 24 hour, daily access to his tasty culinary treasures.
Consider his cover - blown. The secret is out. The Bomber Burger is at 1575 Los Angeles Ave Ventura, CA and it is delicious! The burger was too big to bite. I bit the bottom half of the burger - then the top. Funny thing though... my first bite did not even include either of the 2 meats and it was so good that the sandwich would actually be great, even without meat. The meat is a bonus. How did he do that?? Amazing!
